Please ensure that your business card design is created using the following
business card artwork guidelines:

Single & Double Sided Business Cards

  • 1 up to a standard size of 88 x 55mm* (See example below)
  • Allow 3mm of bleed and crop marks where relevant (see example below)
  • Do not use keylines
  • Ensure artwork in converted to CMYK (no spot colours) and at least 300dpi resolution
  • If sending from a Mac, please stuff your files
  • If sending from a PC, please Zip you files
  • File formats accepted:
    • Quark Express - supply fonts and images
    • Illustrator - fonts converted to outlines
    • Freehand - fonts converted to paths
    • Photoshop - layers flattened, at least 300dpi, JPEG or Tiff
    • Corel Draw - fonts converted to curves
    • Indesign - fonts converted to outlines
    • Press ready PDF with fonts embedded
    * £15 charge to cover the cost of cutting for non-standard smaller sizes.

Deluxe Spot UV Business Cards

For spot uv business cards you need to create the spot UV area as a separate artowrk / file with the spot UV area shown in black and placed in the correct position on the business card design / artwork. Please note that spot UV varnish does not lend itself to thin lines or light text.
